We create beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients, but we also like to see those created by others….perhaps for inspiration and/or new ideas. Last Saturday, the 85th annual Georgetown garden tour was held.  The tour is presented by the Georgetown Garden Club.  I went to the tour last year with two of my daughters and enjoyed it so much, we decided to attend again this year.

Each year, eight unique and intriguing residential landscapes are featured.  Plus, while strolling the Georgetown neighborhood you get to see many beautiful front yard gardens as well.

It was raining for a good bit of the tour, so my picture taking was limited…..would have liked to get a few more shots.  Plus, there are lots of visitors, so clear shots don’t always work out.

These pool pictures were part of a very simplistic back yard design….a bit unusual.

And, who would think….a pretty grate over a patio channel drain caught my eye.

Between the rain showers the sun came out….over all it was an enjoyable tour.
